AN ICONIC BUILDING, WHICH CONVEYS ELEGANCE AND CHARACTER FROM FIRST GLANCE.
Out of the complex’s properties, the Spierer house distinguished itself due to its eclectic style. Its elaborate Rococo Revival style highlights the whole architectonic structure, starting with the façade. Surrounded by a sophisticated aura, stucco décor inside and out, this structure recalls certain French hôtel particulier during the second empire.
You first meet the Spierer at the main façade’s sophisticated portico, which is topped off by a polylobate terrace, later closed in with coloured glass. Its decorative elements are displayed with particular exuberance. Mixed columns are embellished with fruit and shells, windows topped with triangular timpani with volute and garlands, stucco festoons and lilies.
Entering the house, you discover the typical rooms available in a house, where the ground floor are reception areas, and an imposing stairway which leads to the main floors, totalling four above ground level and a basement.
Like outside, the original inside decorations and the elegance of the stucco make this building prestigious and memorable.
